Pinkberry Rumor Alert!

I just heard from an unreliable source (who heard from another unreliable source), that the newly opened Pinkberry at Barrington Court in Brentwood will be closing. I walk by that location a couple of times each week, and have noticed that it is DEAD!
Can anyone confirm if this rumor is true or false? And, if it’s true, does that mean Pinkberry is not the next Starbucks???
I wouldn’t be surprised. It seems like the FROYO market has been inundated with competitors of a similar ilk.
I still enjoy Pinkberry though - when I have the opportunity to have it. I feel they may go the way of Krispy Kreme however - too many, too fast.
Hey Foodette! Can’t answer about Pinkberry, but I did want to ask YOU something. I read that Table 8 had a complete makeover . . . have you been there recently?
Doug - I agree on both counts. The froyo market is completely saturated, but at the same time, I often enjoy a small yogurt with blueberries. I hope it does stay open. However, I was just there last night, and again…empty!
Lia - I have not yet been to Table 8 - their menu looks amazing, though. I must try it. I just have to work up the courage for the drive

Jeff - LOL! While I don’t agree that it tastes bad, I do think it’s a bit overrated.
